AMBULATORY SURGERY CENTERS (ASC) CONTINUED
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) standardized measures for FY 2013 included the quality of care for patients in the ASC setting include: patient burns; patient falls; wrong site, wrong side, wrong patient, wrong procedure, wrong implant; Hospital transfer/admission; and prophylactic intravenous antibiotic timing.
