Hoag Orthopedics 2016 Highlights
• Hired a full-time education coordinator to organize increasing educational conference offerings and oversee its Total Joint Arthroplasty, Spine Surgery and ACGME accredited Sports Medicine Fellowship Training programs.
• Graduating Spine Surgery, Total Joint Arthroplasty and Sports Medicine fellows participated in the  rst annual Orthopedic Fellowship Research Day, held in July with distinguished visiting Professor Ryan M. Nunley, MD.
• In December, in participation with the Dell Medical School (Austin, TX) and Connecticut Joint Replacement Institute at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center (Hartford, CT), Hoag Orthopedics offered its second annual educational course for medical students, residents and fellows, titled, “Preparing You for Your Value Based Healthcare Career.”
