Shoulder Replacement Program
HOI’s shoulder replacement program continues to perform the highest volume on the West Coast and lead in research. In 2024-2025 alone, HOI’s Director of Shoulder Reconstruction, contributed to more than 11 accepted academic studies including one on the impact of shoulder injuries on MMA athletes and another on methodology for reducing infection as part of a Level 1 randomized clinical trial. Additionally, the director of the program was also awarded the Charles S. Neer Award for Clinical Science by the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES). This prestigious award is a significant achievement in shoulder and elbow surgery.
