Hoag Orthopedics Fellowship Program Provides ‘Privademic’ Training to Tomorrow’s Elite Physicians
Hoag Orthopedics is a not-for-profit organization established by Hoag Orthopedic Institute’s (HOI) renowned physicians to provide higher education, research and community outreach in the field of musculoskeletal medicine. As part of that commitment, Hoag Orthopedics offers post-residency fellowship programs in adult reconstruction/joint replacement of the hip & knee, spine surgery, and an ACGME accredited sports medicine program.
Hoag Orthopedics fellowship programs contain a robust educational conference schedule that includes labs, pre/post op conferences, grand rounds, journal clubs and morbidity and mortality conferences in a nonacademic setting. The ‘privademic’ program offers academic-level training in a private setting, providing the fellows with a launchpad into leadership, high level surgical expertise, innovation, and world-class patient care.
