There continues to be an increased demand for the life-altering joint replacement and pain- relieving procedures performed at HOI facilities. HOI experienced a 5% procedural increase at our hospital in 2019 over the previous year, with ambulatory surgery centers case volumes increasing nearly 40% in 2019. HOI added the California Specialty Surgery Center in Mission Viejo as a new ambulatory surgery center.
