P. 49

Chronic rigid post traumatic collapse of T12 vertebral body presented with symptoms of progressive thoracic myelopathy and pain. Treatment with a 2 level minimally invasive anterior longitudinal ligament release to enable correction of the rigid kyphotic spine injury. Pre- and
post-surgical imaging shows reconstruction of the anterior column of the spine through placement of interbody vertebral cages above and below the fracture site through minimally invasive spinal surgery dissection techniques.
HOI’s Center for Spine provides:
• A skilled team of surgeons and spinal care experts
• Innovative spine diagnostic technologies
• Progressive non-invasive and surgical treatment options
Each year, even for complex cases, the proportion of minimally invasive procedures compared to traditional surgeries continues to increase.
